The location was ideal, with plenty of activities and beautiful walks nearby. We particularly enjoyed dining at the General Havelock, where we savored delicious steaks and pies. The house itself was filled with interesting artwork and antiques, creating a unique and charming atmosphere. The lounge area was incredibly cozy, boasting a comfortable sofa and a large TV. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of delicious biscuits and a bottle of fizz left by our host.
The check-in and check-out times were a bit inconvenient, as they were set quite early. parking was a challenge, which made it a little frustrating.

The lounge area was comfy with a huge TV and a never-ending supply of logs for the fireplace. Ashley was great once I actually got a response.
Nothing like being woken up by the moon and sun shining straight down on you, thanks to the lack of blinds in the skylight bedroom. So convenient.

The rooms at Shaftoe Mews were cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. We loved the warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for our family getaway. The bathrooms were a great size, and having two options with either a bath or shower was a bonus.
Personally, we found the showers a bit small for our liking, but hey, that's just us. Others may still find them perfectly fine.

We had an amazing stay at Shaftoe Mews Villa! The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings and going on great walks. The house itself was filled with interesting artwork and antiques, making it a unique and fascinating holiday home. The lounge area was incredibly comfortable, especially with the cozy log burner and large TV. The kitchen, although a bit cramped for preparing meals, was well-stocked with pans and utensils. Plus, the range was excellent for cooking. We were delighted to find delicious biscuits and a bottle of fizz left for us by our host.

Shaftoe Mews was so cozy and comfy, I felt right at home. The rooms were spacious with not one, but two bathrooms - perfect for a group like ours. Plus, having the choice between a bath or shower was an added bonus!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of one feature - there were only showers in two of the bathrooms. But hey, that's just me.
